Let Live Foundation - This organization does a monthly event in Portland Oregon as well as a yearly conference which brings speakers and organizations from all across the country to educate and inspire anyone interested in helping animals. The 2010 conference is where i got this episode’s interviews.
Vegan This – maker of animal liberation themed attire and distributor of information regarding animal rights and legal issues. Jeff pulls no punches with his up-front and in your face style seen not only on his website, but on the clothing he sells. When the problem is severe, the discussion needs to be equally as severe.
Civil Liberties Defense Center – Legal council for anyone who finds themselves in a tight spot due to activism or other situations involving civil liberties. Lauren Regan is the founder and executive director of the Civil Liberties Defense Center where she serves as the staff attorney as well. She runs a public interest law firm specializing in environmental law, civil rights, landlord tenant matters and criminal defense. She is a founding board member and past president of the Cascadia Wildlands Project, she serves as a Lane County Teen Court judge, Oregon State Bar Leadership Fellow, National Lawyers Guild, Eugene cochair, and volunteers hundreds of hours a year to various progressive causes.
